Until Further Notice2020–2021
Experimental podcast collective

The collective project was initiated during the first two weeks in response to the declared state of emergency in the Czech Republic. Five members – Daniel Vlček, Martin Netočný, Ezra Šimek, Maxine Vajt, and Zuzana-Markéta Macková – decided to form a collective at the beginning of the pandemic. Each of us reflected on what we could contribute to society and what advantages or privileges we could leverage. We concluded that our strength lies in cultural capital. We have the privilege of knowing many influential people worldwide, primarily theorists, artists, and scientists, whom we could connect with through our platform. We aimed to create a space where something impactful could emerge to address the current situation.

We explored themes such as the digitization of exhibitions, radical aesthetics, mental health, and the function of feminist institutions. In total, 11 episodes were produced. The ninth episode took place live in the technical spaces of the Archa Theatre, as part of the Vedro festival. Listeners wore silent disco headphones, allowing them to listen to a live conversation between Andrea Hrůzová Průchová and Václav Janoščík, moderated by Jen Kratochvil.

The speakers discussed the new language that has emerged to describe the climate crisis. However, each speaker was on a different floor of the building. While the audience was together, they were isolated by headphones. Participants could move around, visit the speakers, or simply relax in the lobby.
