Tralalily 2025
Music video poem, 4 min.

Tralalily
follows a virtual lily trapped in a space that shifts between abstract scenography and club aesthetics. The lily sings while her form changes uncontrollably every ten seconds. Transformation is ongoing, but there is no sense of progression. She remains in a liminal state, moving between dissolution and constant reconfiguration, never able to arrive at a point of rest or renewal.

This cycle of instability resonates with Gramsci’s idea that the old is dying and the new cannot be born. The lily exists within this suspended moment, a condition marked by exhaustion and unresolved tension. It reflects a broader sense of burnout, characteristic of a time in which we find ourselves caught between peace and revolution. The desire for change is ever-present, yet the conditions for it seem perpetually out of reach.

The video is laced with pop culture references that range from the theoretical to the absurd. Slavoj Žižek meets Furby, Werner Herzog meets Lady Gaga, and all of it blends into a chaotic, rhythmic monologue expressing the lily’s fragmented identity.
